This is a very rare 1963 Scandlines' Gedser People and Car Ferry Ship by PILOT Diescast. It is a souvenir piece that is approximately 4.5 inches or 114mm. Some call it a miniature model ship.
This ferry is no longer in operation and it changed names many times in it's life. From our research the last use of this ship was the worlds largest boat casino. When in operation though it was a ferry between Denmark (Gedser) and Germany (
Warnemünde).
This is not in perfect condition and is missing some pieces and some of the paint is worn off. However,
we can not find another one in existence! So very cool, very valuable, and very much one of a kind.
